Playing catch up 🏃🏾♀️
|
Hey Reader, What a busy month it's been! I hope you're doing well and are feeling good about the start of the new quarter. I got back from Barcelona last week, and I'm still playing a bit of catch up. Even so, I have a few things that I'm excited to share with you including some time-sensitive deals. They'll save you money on my Domestika course (we're almost at 200 students 🙌🏾) & my book illustration debut so don't miss out! Below I also share some found type & lettering inspiration from my trip, so I hope you enjoy it, and thanks as always for your support ❤️ Alanna Found Type: Barcelona, SpainFound type is type and lettering you see out in everyday life. As a lettering artist this was one of the things I was most looking forward to during my trip to Barcelona. A lot of the type comes from store fronts and shops but there was also a rich street art culture present as well. P.S. If you're into found type and historical signage, I highly recommend Louise Fili's book, Gràfica de les Rambles: The Signs of Barcelona (affiliate). I have it in my own library and it's a beautiful tribute to the signage and lettering found throughout Barcelona. |
